(HELP ?) Circles provide narratives on Training, Explanations, and Hints. These can be related to the overall screen, or to specific items on the screen.

This "Help" narrative is for the "CHECK-IN HISTORY" Screen or Display Panel.

CheckinLink screens are comprised of five sections:

- Product Bar (wide horizontal bar across the top of the MemberLink screen)

- Operations Bar (narrow horizontal bar immediately under the Product Bar)

CheckinLink has the following Tabs on the Operations Bar: "View/Edit" Tab; "Registration" Tab; "Check-In" Tab; "Check-In Queue" Tab; "Check-Out" Tab; "Messaging" Tab; "Options" Tab; and "Logout" Tab.

- Information Bar (narrow horizontal bar immediately under the Operations Bar)

- Navigation Panel (vertical column area under the Information Bar on left side of screen)

- Display Panel (remainder of the screen, under the Information Bar and to the right of the Navigation Panel, and shows information in ROW/COLUMN Forms, DATA Forms, etc.)

Introduction to Check-In History

This is the "CHECK-IN HISTORY" Display Panel in the CheckinLink Module. You came here by clicking the >Operations Bar "VIEW/EDIT" Tab> and then the Navigation Panel "VIEW HISTORY" Hyperlink.

You can abandon the History look-up at any time by clicking on any of the Operations Bar Tabs or Navigation Panel Hyperlinks.

There are two screens involved with viewing the Child Check-In History.

Screen 1 "" Select the Viewing Date Range

Here you can enter the start date and end date range to be used for the History report. The date range you enter will be used to select the Check-In records for the report.

After you enter the date range, click the "SELECT DATE RANGE" Button to proceed to the next screen.

Screen 2 "" History Report Screen

This is the Display Panel where administrators come to review the Check-In History List of Children. The Children that were Checked-In within the date range you entered are listed in a ROW/COLUMN Form style layout.

This "ROW/COLUMN Form" style Display Panel has two sections. The top section has selection filters and function buttons. The bottom section has the ROW/COLUMN layout.

Section 1 "" Filters & Functions

There can be "Viewing Filters" and several buttons or hyperlinks in this section of the screen.

Viewing Filters:

Presently, there are no Viewing Filters. There is a title that says, "Registered Check-In History from (Start Date) to (End Date). You entered the Start Date and End Date in the Date Range before coming here.

Remove or Retain Selected:

The purpose and use of these two buttons is described further below in connection with the "SELECT" Column.

Next, Back, First, Last:

These hyperlinks are used to move up and down through the active records (History Records) shown on the Display Panel.

Section 2 "" ROW/COLUMN Form

** Note 1: The default display will be Registered Children Check-In History. There is a toggle link in the Navigation Panel (described further below) that will change this display to Visitor Children Check-In History.

The following is an explanation of each column on the "Check-In History"Display Panel.

Select Column:

You can customize which Children you want to see on the Display Panel by using the "SELECT" Column. Click the Checkbox (or multiple Checkboxes) in that column and then you can use either the "REMOVE SELECTED" Button or the "RETAIN SELECTED" Button to manipulate which records still appear on the Display Panel.

Use the "RESET CHILDREN" Hyperlink on the Navigation Panel to turn "OFF" all Checkboxes in the "SELECT" Column.

Child Name Column:

Each row on the Display Panel will display a Child's First & Last Name in the "CHILD NAME" Column. If the Child was checked into a specific location, the location will also display next to the Child's name.

Parent Name Column:

Each row on the Display Panel will display the Parent or Guardian First & Last Name in the "PARENT NAME" Column.

Checked-In Column:

Each row on the Display Panel will display the date the Child was Checked-In, in the "START TIME" Column. If a start and end time was used for the check-in, the start time will be displayed above the date.

Status Column:

Each row on the Display Panel will show you, in the "STATUS" Column, the status of the Child in that History record.

Notes/Alerts Column:

Each row on the Display Panel will display the Note box and the Alert box in the "NOTES/ALERT" Column. At the time of Check-In, the Parent or Guardian may enter Notes (which will be displayed in this column).

After the Parent's Note is displayed, the Alert data field and the Special Instructions data field will be displayed. These two fields are entered and maintained in MemberLink on the Child's "PROFILE"Display Panel.

View Column:

Each row on the Display Panel will have a hyperlink that will let you "View" more details, in the "VIEW" Column. Click the "VIEW" Hyperlink to go to the "VIEW DETAILS"Display Panel where you can see more complete information about the Child, Parent or Guardian, Check-In data, etc.

** Note 2: At any time, you can leave the "CHECK-IN HISTORY" Display Panel by clicking any of the Tabs on the Operations Bar.

Navigation Panel:

The Navigation Panel includes several links that will let you find specific Children or jump to other screens. The following is a description of those links.

Back:

Click the "BACK" Hyperlink to go back to the Operations Bar "VIEW/EDIT" Tab.

Visitor History:

Click the "VISITOR HISTORY" Hyperlink to go to the "VISITOR CHECK-IN HISTORY" Display Panel.

This is a toggle link, and from that screen you can click the "REGISTERED HISTORY" Hyperlink to come back to the Registered Children view.

Reset Children:

You can click the "RESET" Hyperlink to turn OFF the Checkboxes in the "SELECT" Column.

View Locations:

Click the "VIEW LOCATIONS Hyperlink to go the "VIEW LOCATIONS" Display Panel.

View Parents:

Click the "VIEW PARENTS" Hyperlink to go the "VIEW ALL PARENT/GUARDIAN OF REGISTERED CHILDREN" Display Panel.

View All Children:

Click the "VIEW ALL CHILDREN" Hyperlink to go the "VIEW ALL CHILDREN" Display Panel.

** Note 3: Just another reminder" At any time, you can leave the Navigation Panel or the Display Panel by clicking any of the Tabs on the Operations Bar.
